Learn how to incorporate healthy eating and physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. This presentation will include easy-to-prepare healthy and affordable recipes that both parents and children can participate in cooking, mindful eating strategies to avoid overeating due to stress and/or boredom, ideas for scheduling breaks throughout the day for hydrating, stretching, and quick exercises, ways to limit screen time and the importance of getting enough sleep and how it can affect eating behaviors and overall health. We will also discuss key nutrients, such as vitamin D, that are especially important when time outdoors is limited.
