Event Details

We welcome all English learners to join us in reading and discussing short stories by the world-famous detective writer Agatha Christie. Let’s solve mysteries with the remarkable sleuth Miss Marple! Registration is open to everyone on Brentwood Public Library’s website. Helpful materials and information on how to join the discussions online will be e-mailed to you upon registration. The book “Miss Marple. The Complete Short Stories” by Agatha Christie is available for check-out at the Circulation desk. 

“The Tuesday Night Club” 

A group of friends form a club to discuss and solve mysteries; and the readers meet Miss Jane Marple for the first time. 

“The Idol House of Astarte” 

Richard Haydon was killed in front of several people, but the murderer was never found. Miss Marple solves the mystery without leaving her armchair.
